Custom Powder Coating

Powder coating is a highly durable finishing process that involves applying tiny dry particles to an item or part. Also known as dry painting, the powder coating process is clean and efficient and relies on the attraction of charged particles to create an electrostatic bond.

After the pigmented powder is applied, items are placed in a curing oven to bake. The baking process allows the powder to melt and encase the items in a plastic coating.

Cerakote (Ceramic Coating)

High-Temperature Ceramic Coating is used on parts exposed to temperatures up to 1800 °F.

The coating provides a thermal stability barrier along with excellent adhesion. Coated parts often demonstrate up to a 40% reduction in surface temperatures resulting in reduced under-hood temperatures, longer part life, and increased exhaust flow velocity.

Additionally, Ceramic Coatings are exceptionally effective at prohibiting corrosion on countless applications that can be applied over chrome, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, or cast iron. Ideal for exhaust pipes, headers, manifolds, turbo housings, intakes, and brackets. Available in several Colors.

Chemical Stripping

Chemical Stripping is the process in which objects such as wheels, bike frames, or other metal-based objects are stripped of finishes such as paint, powder, filler, and lacquer.

The process is designed to strip all coatings and residual chemicals, leaving only bare aluminum or steel at the end of the process.

Chemical stripping is often a suitable alternative to media blasting for tough-to-remove coatings.

Media Blasting

Before powder coating, the item to be coated must be completely cleaned of dirt, paint, rust, oils, damaged plating, and corrosion and help ensure a long-lasting, flaw-free finish.

Media blasting provides deep cleaning of the part or surface being prepared, it creates a surface profile or “tooth” to enhance mechanical bonding and helps to provide a more uniform finished appearance.

Vapour Honing (blasting)

Vapour Honing is non-abrasive and poses no risk of damaging the finish of a part. Corrosion and oxidization is washed away, resulting in an OEM appearance and a surface that is sealed at microscopic level, protecting the surface for years to come.
